Suatu hari demang dan derwish terserempak seekor ular sawa yang sedang bersedia untuk menelan seekor kancil.
Maka kedua²nya kelam kabut nak selamatkan kancil itu daripada jadi mangsa sang sawa.
Tiba² sang sawa bertempik: "kenapa kalian nak rampas rezeki aku?"
Demang dan derwish tergamam.
Saya bawa analogi ini apabila ada percanggahan pendapat tentang tindakan memberi makan kucing jalanan.
Pendapat pertama mengatakan menyediakan makanan untuk kucing jalanan adalah amal baik.
Namun ada satu lagi pendapat, ia menjadikan kucing² itu tidak pandai mencari makanan sendiri. Akibatnya tikus² semakin banyak.
Saya tidak mahu memberikan pendapat peribadi saya kecuali jika ada yang bertanya.
